- AC/DC power system layout and construction using any manufacturer equipment.
- WAN and LAN build, install networking hardware and software in business office environment.
Cell Sites:
Build cell sites perform grounding, install and test equipment. Stay current in the latest cellular, PCS, mobile radio, microwave, fiber optic, and DC power plant system installation and testing methods. Can design and implement fiber optic SONET networks, in-building wireless systems, and a broad range of cellular and PCS repeater systems.
Am well able to build cell site installations with state-of-the-art test equipment. Am dedicated to performing excellent work in RF and fiber optic equipment testing resulting in stable system integrity and quality control. Have proficiency with complete installations, test and activation, including A/C power systems, D/C power plant, emergency power systems, grounding, and alarm systems.

When you are implementing an annual switch build plan for any field service area or building any new facility I can oversee the activities related to these 14 switch implementation milestones:
- Order switch/primary equipment.
- Install transport, switch or cell site equipment and wiring.
- Complete Space Conditioning.
- Establish transport and/or, local access or cell site plan.
- Issue NACN questionnaire.
- Install and test switch, power, and primary equipment.
- Complete switch/primary ODA/DT.
- Install and test ancillary equipment.
- Execute ISVP fit.
- Order facilities.
- Accept facilities.
- Final completion of testing.
- Complete integration and cluster testing.
- Cut over switch.
Day to day responsibilities:
Will develop work plans, obtain and approve estimates, and develop timeline for the execution of the switch build program for specific switches. Will assess switch build progress and quality levels, and compare results to planned targets. Evaluate, prioritize, and execute ad-hoc requests in a manner that minimizes the impact on project scheduling and scope. Will support the development of switch implementation plans for future year. Interact with client corporate and site build management as necessary to resolve any coordination issues. Will prepare monthly build status scorecard versus plan, and highlight areas for intervention for internal management. Will determine internal and external resource requirements and ensure contractual arrangements are in place in order to begin work and ensure a streamlined vendor evaluation and selection process. Will interact periodically with vendors to discuss switch installation and transition progress, resolve critical operational bottlenecks, evaluate status of the relationship, and resolve relationship issues to ensure that vendor performance metrics match or exceed planned targets. Assign roles and responsibilities for project team and support staff.
I am a switch implementation project manager, have switch build experience for (Lucent, Nortel, Ericsson, Nortel DMS, FLM, Lightwave, Lucent 5ESS, hardware and software, Alcatel 1631 series, DEX, Ericsson MSC 5000, Lucent 5ESS, Nortel DMS 10 to 500). Larger equipment and protocol list is available.
Developed work estimates financial budgets and timelines. Have ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Have ability to and experience with coaching employees. Have forty-two years strong electrical, data, and telecommunications construction, operations and project management experience (plan, design, build, and execute). Have ability to manage projects and get hands into the technology.

May 1998 to Present - Systems Integration Engineer, Technician, Project Manager, Power Engineer. Work for JP Staffing division of Winlock Associates, LLP - Winston-Salem, NC. Design type III POP point of presence sites where three or more backbone cables come together in a network.
Design database and spreadsheet to input information on battery power supplies in central office locations across the country. Allow personnel at all locations to access database to input their respective data covering local power supply via wide area network. Manage the design of new power supplies.
Work on DMS Access Nodes hardware and software installations. Testing Equipment and Systems for Frontier Communications and other companies. Provide engineering, management and installation services through a consultant working agreement. Work through preferred staffing vendors.
Responsible for the site survey and installation of equipment and wiring, project management and writing of Universal Service Orders for KMC Telecom.
Responsible for the installation of circuit packs and software loads on DMS/Access Nodes, Voicemail Express. Completed several hundred up grades (retrofit) on DMS Access Nodes and Access Node Express locations for Focal Communications, ITC Deltacom, Cox Communications, Brookes Fiber.
Managed the operations of installers on Reltec power system installation for Level 3. Coordinated the work efforts on the main battery system.
Project manager and operational tester responsible for the install and testing of a Nortel power supply for AT&T training center in New Jersey with thirty satellite locations. Coordinated the work efforts on the main battery system plus 30 satellite systems.
